My OpenRouter key stopped working. What do I check?
Open Settings, Model and spending, and press Check beside the key. The app asks OpenRouter and says whether the key is working or rejected, with OpenRouter’s reason and how much of the key’s credit is used. Where the key lives
Where does VectorBrain write its log?
An installed build writes to vectorbrain.log in the logs folder of the app’s data directory. The log stays on your computer; attach it to an email if you choose to.
How do I back up my data before trying a fix?
Settings, You, Back up my data writes a copy of the database to the backups folder in ~/VectorBrain. The app also copies the database by itself before every upgrade and keeps the newest five.
Can support see my projects or conversations?
No. The app has no server and sends no telemetry, so nothing reaches VectorBrain unless you send it yourself. What leaves the machine
